Bahrain iGA Highlights Digital Housing Services at 2026 Innovation Summit

Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority is presenting its latest digital government services and sector-focused platforms at the 2nd Innovation Summit in the Social Housing Sector 2026, taking place from 29 September to 3 October at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir. Held under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the event is organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and Eskan Bank, in cooperation with the GCC General Secretariat, as part of the 4th GCC Housing Week. The authority’s participation highlights how national digital channels are supporting citizens, housing applicants and real estate stakeholders.

Digital services for housing applicants

The iGA is displaying services available through Bahrain’s National Portal, bahrain.bh, and other digital channels, with access supported by the upgraded eKey 2.0. The showcased services cover several stages of the housing journey, including housing applications, Mazaya requests and housing finance applications.

Visitors can also learn about services for updating contact and bank account details, checking housing request status, registering electronic contract notifications, obtaining address certificates, transferring property title deeds, requesting land surveys and purchasing cadastral maps.

Credit and financial planning support

Among the featured services is the Benefit Credit Report service provided by BENEFIT. The service allows users to review credit information and financial commitments, helping beneficiaries assess their obligations and plan future financing requirements more effectively.

Platforms for real estate and government integration

The authority is also highlighting the MyGov App as a unified platform for individuals to access a growing range of government services. In addition, it is presenting digital systems that support the real estate sector, including the Benayat building permit system and the Planning Platform, both aimed at improving integration, connectivity and service efficiency.

Open data and public engagement

The Bahrain Open Data Portal, data.gov.bh, is another key project on display. The platform provides access to government datasets intended to encourage innovation, support digital service development and expand data-driven decision-making. The iGA said visitors can explore its services and projects at its stand in Hall 8 throughout the exhibition period.
