Online registration is now available for the Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition, which will be held at Exhibition World Bahrain from October 6 to 8. The event, organised by Bahrain’s Industry and Commerce Ministry and held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, is expected to bring together senior officials, business executives, manufacturers, investors and industry specialists from across the Gulf and further afield. The gathering is designed to advance a shared regional industrial identity while supporting efforts to make Gulf-made products more competitive in local, regional and global markets.
Regional industrial platform
The forum will combine high-level policy discussions with a dedicated industrial exhibition. Its central aim is to position Made in GCC as a unified label for quality, production capability and innovation across the Gulf region.
Organisers expect the event to provide a platform for discussing the future of manufacturing, industrial policy and private sector participation. A key theme will be closer co-operation between governments and businesses on priorities that can support long-term industrial development.
Focus on partnerships
One of the main features of the event will be a business-to-business matchmaking programme. The initiative is intended to arrange direct meetings between manufacturers, investors, buyers, distributors and financial institutions.
These meetings are expected to help participants explore supply agreements, distribution channels and investment opportunities. The format is designed to turn discussions into practical commercial links and cross-border partnerships.
GCC meetings in Manama
The forum will run alongside meetings of the GCC Industrial Co-operation Committee and the GCC Commercial Co-operation Committee. Bahrain will chair the sessions in Manama, adding a wider policy dimension to the exhibition and forum programme.
The meetings are expected to connect the event’s recommendations with broader Gulf efforts to deepen economic integration, encourage sustainable industrial growth and diversify national economies.
