His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister,
emphasised the significance of the livestock, agriculture, and marine wealth sector He
underscored his commitment to supporting this sector through the implementation of
comprehensive plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing food security and achieving the
Kingdom of Bahrain’s wide-ranging goals.
HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with the Minister of Municipalities
Affairs and Agriculture, His Excellency Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, at Sakhir Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the prominent role of Bahraini
professionals in implementing the various development plans, programmes, and initiatives to
achieve the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness underscored that the Kingdom has abundant national competencies within
Team Bahrain, which contributes effectively to supporting global development efforts that
furthers the Kingdom’s international standing across all fields.
He congratulated the Director of the Animal Health Directorate, Dr. Fajr Al Salloum, on her
election as Vice President of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Council,
wishing her continued success in her endeavours.

Eng. Al Mubarak expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his support of Bahraini
professionals working in the livestock and agricultural sectors and for the projects and plans
implemented by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
The Minister stressed that the Ministry would continue its efforts to achieve the advancement
and development of the Kingdom. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al
Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, H.E. Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the
meeting.
